We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.The Digital Medical Communications Manager is responsible for developing and managing all customer-facing digital platforms such as AlconScience.com, email communications, social media postings, and other online medical and scientific content. These activities span all regions in support of the entire Alcon Portfolio. The role is part of the medical communications team responsible for a variety of assets including written, video-based, and social media elements in alignment with medical affairs strategy. This role reports to the Director, Global Medical Communications.In this role, a typical day will include:Shapes the medical digital communication strategy and its execution for all regions based on the global medical affairs strategy.Utilizes innovation to solve problems across many countries.Develops and implements strategies to enable business goals using digital communication platforms.Is responsible for operational objectives and long-term planning.Influences internal and/or external key stakeholders to achieve medical / scientific digital communication objectives aligned with business objectives.
