- We are looking for a strategic thinker and leader for this role, someone who is passionate about using data to inform and shape company decisions and strategies.
- You will also be responsible for hiring , coaching and training (new) team members.
- This includes coordinating resources and activities to achieve project goals.
- You will also dare to voice your opinion within the organization and steer where you can.
Responsibilities:
- As a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager, you will lead data and analytics strategy, guiding Business Intelligence & Customer Analytics (BICA) team to deliver insights that drive decision-making and business success.
- You will lead a diverse team of six with different nationalities spread across Belgium and the Netherlands.
- As the leader of the BI team, you will set an overarching roadmap for data and analytics initiatives.
- Central to this is bringing the two country teams together into a common team. The role also includes
- full responsibility for managing the entire stack for delivering our data products, with the BI Manager directly supervising the BI & Analytics team to ensure these products are delivered successfully and on
- time.
Team Guidance and Coaching:
- Support and guide the BI team in daily activities. You help set priorities and monitor the quality of the work delivered.
- Assist in the development of team members through coaching, knowledge sharing and training.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Working with internal stakeholders to understand their information needs and translate them into BI solutions.
- By building bridges to the various stakeholders, you know how to further embed the use of the products delivered by the team in the organization
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Developing data products that seamlessly connect to the strategic initiatives within the organization.
- The dashboards and reports that you and the team build and implement provide (senior) management with the insights to make data-driven decisions.
- Providing customer, market and competitive analysis for our product roadmaps and improving our services.
Data Governance and Quality:
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by monitoring data quality KPIs together with data stewards in the business.
- Implement and enforce data governance practices.
Use of Analytics Tools and Technologies:
- Manage and optimize analytics tools and technologies.
- Assist in the integration of the analytics platform and BI systems with other business information systems.
