Manager, Accounting Services will manage and lead a team of 10 financial accountants responsible for the Financial Accounting processes as part of the R2R organization in our Shared Service center in Budapest. The Accounting Services Team is responsible for general accounting and reporting of majority of SAP entities in the region.

Your Impact

-Management of a team of 10 accountants, organizing and overviewing the team’s operation
-Handling SAP closing of approximately 40 legal entities and loading to consolidation system (OneStream)
-Review and approve of ad hoc, month end, late and recurring journal entries, and periodic reconciliations
-FASS schedules, KPMG/Internal Audit PBC List preparations, and SOX ownership
-Supporting ad-hoc regional and local projects
 

Your Experience and Qualifications

-University degree in Finance / Accounting (or similar)
-Min 5-7 years of relevant experience, most of which is in international / matrix environment, plus minimum 2 years of people management experience
-Good accounting knowledge, understanding the end to end accounting and reporting processes
-Deep understanding of financial month end close processes, US GAAP reporting requirements, as well as SOX controls, and supporting internal and external audit
-Strong Excel and SAP skills required, experience with OneStream is an advantage
