- Support the Hotel Maintenance Manager with both planned and reactive maintenance, defect repairs, and health & safety checks in line with Aimbridge’s core values
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for yourself, guests, and colleagues in line with the company’s security, operating, and environmental policies.
- Carry out mandatory checks and maintenance on all electrical equipment and machinery, whilst reporting accurately on the status throughout.
- Liaise with the wider hotel team to ensure a smooth and efficient service is provided at all times.
- Ensure you are well organised to guarantee minimum impact to guests and colleagues, whilst also delivering a consistently high standard of work and attention to detail during each shift.
Based in the Ghent Marriott Hotel, you will be part of a family of passionate people who know that being the best does not always mean working around the clock.What do we need from you?To be successful in this role, you will need a good understanding of hotel services along with experience within a maintenance role. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more building trades including plumbing, carpentry, painting/ decorating, or general building maintenance. Good electrical knowledge is required for this job.You are available on call, in a shift system, for emergency technical interventions outside working hours.
