Job description
Campus Infrastructure wish to appoint a Maintenance Manager with primary responsibility to assist the General Maintenance Manager to rectify and diagnose a broad range of building related defects/problems and alterations.This will include:
- the management of regulatory compliance
- PPM activity, using the in house staff and contractors
- undertaking routine and legislative checks
- ensuring compliance with the University’s Health & Safety policy
- obtaining formal quotations and/or tenders from external contractors,
- monitoring the quality of works on site,
- checking invoices before payment,
- maintaining records of repairs and correspondence for strict auditing purposes.
You should have:
- a good standard of education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics or a relevant NVQ
- Facilities Management-related qualification or equivalent relevant experience
- ISOH Managing Safely or equivalent
