Campus Infrastructure wish to appoint a Maintenance Manager with primary responsibility to assist the General Maintenance Manager to rectify and diagnose a broad range of building related defects/problems and alterations.This will include:

• the management of regulatory compliance
• PPM activity, using the in house staff and contractors
• undertaking routine and legislative checks
• ensuring compliance with the University’s Health & Safety policy
• obtaining formal quotations and/or tenders from external contractors,
• monitoring the quality of works on site,
• checking invoices before payment,
• maintaining records of repairs and correspondence for strict auditing purposes.

You should have:

• a good standard of education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics or a relevant NVQ
• Facilities Management-related qualification or equivalent relevant experience
• ISOH Managing Safely or equivalent
