Job Description:Are you an engaging engineer with experience working in an environment where safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are all high priority?Applied Medical gives you the opportunity to contribute to our global mission of high standards of integrity and social responsibility.In the role as Maintenance Engineer, you will manage and assist throughout all phases of development projects as well as troubleshoot production related equipment used for the fabrication and sterilization of medical devices.To realize this, you will work closely together with multiple teams throughout the organization such as Engineering (EU & US), Production, Automation, Quality and Safety. You will act as content expert and can be contacted by anyone in the organization for maintenance and equipment related topics.You will report to the Maintenance ManagerKey Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in manufacturing or sterilization equipment as well as maintenance processes and procedures
  • Create, review and update maintenance plans for new and existing equipment
  • Perform root cause analysis and equipment efficiency studies and propose and implement corrections and corrective actions
  • Maintain expertise in current industry regulations and evaluate engineering protocols
  • Qualifying, maintaining, and troubleshooting the system and associated equipment
  • Assisting in the selection of appropriate suppliers, equipment, and contractors
  • Creating training material to increase consistency and compliance within the Maintenance team
  • Managing key communications with long-term and strategic implications
  • Comply with Applied Medical’s quality regulations and quality standards

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Engineering
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a comparable position
  • Strong technical writing skills are required
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and systems
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken
  • Good communication in Dutch is a nice to have
  • Work experience in an international environment is preferred
