An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated senior nurse who is passionate about Haematological cancer to lead and develop the cross site Haematology Cancer CNS Team. This is a permanent Band 8a post at 37.5 hours per week. This is a Macmillan badged post with access to support and educational funding.Applications for this post are invited from nurses who have had extensive experience in haematological cancer. We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking individual who is flexible, self-motivated, and reliable plus a good team player and leader. The successful candidate should have a degree and be willing to develop their academic and clinic practice. They should have excellent communication skills verbally and written. They will play an active part in clinical practice, education, research/audit and the implementation of national guidelines and transformative services. The successful applicant will work as part of a well-established dynamic multi-disciplinary Haematology Cancer team who provide specialist advice, holistic care and support to patients, relatives and members of the health care teams. - Registered Nurse with current NMC Registration
