Position Summary

As a Loss Prevention Officer at St Pancras Renaissance, you are responsible for protecting the most valuable assets within this iconic hotel, the building itself its associates, and its guests.

Responsibilities: Here’s what your journey with us entails

• Patrolling all areas of the property.

• Monitoring Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system.

• Locking property entrances when required.

• Conducting daily physical hazard inspections.

• Responding to accidents, contacting EMS or administering first aid/CPR as required.

• Assisting guests and/or associates during emergency situations.

• Notifying appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents.

• Defusing guest and/or associate disturbances.

• Calling for outside assistance if necessary.

• Completing incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents.

• Handling all interruptions and complaints.

• Resolving safety hazard situations.

• Escorting any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation.

• Reporting to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts.

• Calling for assistance using proper code responses.

• Completing a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report.

• Maintaining confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents; releasing information only to authorized individuals.

• Conducting investigations and gathering evidence.

• Conducting interviews with relevant parties as part of wider security investigations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
