Logistics Specialist III

Manitowoc, international leader in providing premium lifting solutions with Potain and Grove brands, is looking for a Procurement Specialist to be based in the italian production plant in Niella Tanaro (CN).

Main Responsibilities in the Role

• Procurement activities including issuing of P.O. for the dedicated area of items. Activity includes exchange of infomation with the supplier,supervision of deliveries and mantaining forecast information accurate
• Coordinate activity of collection of parts in cooperation with the transport companies. Custom clearance paper work when importing from NON CE countries
• Setting up relation with supplier in case are new ones. Define the conditions and parameter of issuing orders and shipping details
• Manage continous improvements to improve logistic material flows, from supplier to warehouse, from warehouse to production lines
• Manage inventory, put in place actions in order to mantain it stable and aligned with budget.

To be Successful in the Role

• Previous experience in procurement within complex manifacturing or logistics companies
• SAP Knowleed is a plus
• Good knowledge of English
• Good managerial and relational skills
• Attitude to work in team
• Proactive and goals oriented
• Problem Solving and capability to quickly react to unexpected situation
