– A bachelor or master degree in a logistics direction (eg Logistics Management, Engineering Science-Traffic-Logistics, …) or an engineering degree.
– Experience with data analysis.
– Experience with a logistics supply chain.
– Strong computer skills (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Visio,…).
– A service-oriented attitude and can easily build a network
– Experience in Lean Management.You communicate fluently in English, both in writing and orally. Knowledge of Dutch is an added value.You are analytical and have a problem-solving approach.
You think “outside the box” & can translate complex process descriptions in a simple, understandable way.
You can communicate clearly and build trust throughout the organization.
You succeed in creating involvement with stakeholders.Je verantwoordelijkhedenWithin our distribution center in Winterslag (Genk) you are responsible for:
– The development and optimization of the local logistics processes.
– Supporting the organization in further automation of administrative and logistics
processes.
– Identifying possible improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
– The implementation of these improvements and projects by working together with managers and specialists.
– Leading or participating in certain projects and working groups.
– Analyzing the logistical processes, writing clear reports & formulating advice in function of productivity, efficiency and cost control.
– Optimizing the warehouse layout and implementing and following up necessary changes.
– Keeping the process documentation up to date (process descriptions, working methods, job descriptions, measurement specifications, training
