Role Purpose

As the Patient Insights Lifecycle Leader you will report to the Head of the Healthcare Insights Customer Area in Roche Information Solutions (RIS). You will primarily partner with Go-to-Market, Engineering, and Data & Analytics internal teams to deliver customer centric solutions.

You will be responsible for driving customer and business value through establishing a profitable digital Patient Insights business. In addition, you will have the opportunity to shape the team as the business will evolve. Expected areas of accountability will include, but are not necessarily limited to those outlined below: 

  • Contribute to RIS strategy by enabling and scaling future Patient Insights Life Cycle
  • Build and foster an agile mindset and ways of working with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Act as coach for the organization to simplify cross-team collaboration across Life Cycle area and functions

In this role, you will:

  • Define and evolve the related Customer Area strategy for Patient Insights digital solutions informed by systematic customer insights and engagement
  • Contribute to comprehensive solutions, scope, deliver and manage digital portfolios for Patient Insights in areas like Cardiovascular, Metabolics, Oncology, and Neuro.
  • Drive delivery of product development and success across the Patient Insights Life Cycle area. This includes but not limited to deliver an end-to-end patient monitoring capability with digital measures that provides remote care management and patient engagement for life sciences, provider and payor customers
  • Collaborate closely with Life Cycle Leaders in RDS to fully leverage the scale of the RDS customer segments for Patient Insights
  • Lead the global product management team from needs identification to Patient Management product delivery including incorporating customer feedback in development cycles for varied customer segments
  • Works with Regulatory, Legal, Safety and Compliance to assess gaps and needs on business and compliance processes related to digital health activities
  • Manage the Patient Insights P&L.

Who you are:

  • University degree level qualification in relevant discipline. A postgraduate qualification (e.g. MBA, MSc; or higher degree qualification in a relevant area) would be desirable
  • Proven and practical experience in healthcare development leadership roles, driving development of complex systems, with people and technical responsibilities
  • Broad awareness of the diagnostics industry and its activities, with experience of leading a Digital Product Management team
  • Typically 15+ years of relevant experience

What else do you have in your toolbox: 

  • Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track and measure results
  • Proven experience leading product management teams through collaborative technological innovation in an agile environment or continuous improvement efforts that have yielded tangible results and/or positive impact for patients or business stakeholders
  • Highly developed leadership and people influencing skills, Demonstrated success in establishing a high performing environment, with an excellent reputation attracting the best talent and the commitment to developing and inspiring them
  • Proven ability to create and sustain strong collaborative relationships and networks with diverse stakeholders across a complex global organization
  • Intrapreneurial mindset with proven ability to incubate and foster agile organizations within a complex, global corporate environment
  • Good understanding of software quality management systems, and agile product development processes and methodologies required.
  • Familiarity with the technological trends and their relevance to the healthcare industry. A passionate and decisive business leader. Demonstrating courage, vision and drive to achieve results at the forefront of innovative technological changes

Locations

This position will be based in mySugr Vienna, Austria. 

As this position is a global role, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.

The minimum salary for this position is 110k. But rest assured the compensation package for this position will match competitive market salaries for top executive positions in the respective hiring country!
