Job description
Your responsibilities:
- Leading and managing finance-related change initiatives including: implementing new technologies, systems, and processes within the finance department;
- Overseeing the adoption of new accounting standards or regulatory changes;
- Assisting finance leadership in collecting and validating project requirements, as well as the benefits of the change
- Assisting with implementing cost-saving initiatives or other PEPCO Group strategic financial goals;
- Collaboration with stakeholders and various departments across PEPCO Group to ensure successful change implementation;
- Assessing the impact of changes on Finance teams and stakeholders;
- Identifying and addressing potential resistance to change;
- Developing communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed and engaged;
- Facilitating training and workshops to prepare teams for new processes or systems;
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of change management initiatives;
- Coordinating with Finance BAU teams to identify, escalate, and resolve issues and service requests;
- Managing expectations and communicate progress clearly throughout the change process;
- Analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of new processes and systems implemented;
- Measuring the impact of changes on financial performance, efficiency, and compliance;
- Identifying opportunities for further improvement and recommend adjustments;
- Tracking and ensuring the realization of business case benefits post-project implementation.
Our requirements:
- More than 3 years of experience (process redesign, quality assurance department or Finance SME);
- University degree (at least Bachelor’s degree);
- Advanced – AR, AP, Fixed assets, GL booking, month end closing, Intercompany transactions;
- Advanced – process mapping methodology, process management methods, business process redesign, performance management;
- Intermediate – project management, information technologies;
- Basic – Lean Six Sigma, computer and peripheral devices structure and handling;
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong ethical and compliance focus;
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment;
- Experience with relevant finance technologies and processes is a plus;
- Fluency in English.
