The University Library is seeking to appoint a full-time (37 hours) Library Supervisor to join the Library Customer Services Team.
The University Library is part of the wider Directorate of Students and Education (DSE) which brings together complementary departments with the overarching aim of providing excellent student support.
You will join a small supervisor team who are responsible for ensuring that our students, staff and external visitors receive a consistent, first contact, enquiry support service, both in person and remote, across the library’s broad service operating hours.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to a high standard of user-focused service delivery in a busy service environment.
You will regularly work from our busiest Wolverhampton Campus Library, Harrison Library, but you will be expected to work on a regular basis from our libraries at Walsall and Telford Campus. The library service operates 7 days a week and you will be expected to work some evenings and weekends on a regular basis.
