We are a highly successful College offering a wide range of provision from Level 1 to BSc Honours Degree Level. We have new purpose-built facilities allowing us to offer courses based around the latest techniques and equipment required for industry demands.We are seeking a highly committed and motivated Assistant Coach – Assessor to work on our Leicester Tigers Rugby Programme.As part of this new programme, the successful candidate will work with talented players on and off the pitch as part of the Leicester Tigers performance pathway.In addition to running practical based pitch sessions, the role will include delivering workshops and 1:1’s in a range of wrap around topics to develop knowledge and competency of players. In particular, providing lifestyle support to players.This role will also include delivery and assessment activity as part of the Diploma in Sporting Excellence qualification.The successful candidate will have suitable/relevant coaching qualification and experience, have experience working within elite sport and have experience of developing knowledge in off field environments, such as classroom-based workshops.Applicants must already have, or be willing to work towards, an assessor’s qualification and/or a teaching qualification.The successful individual may be required to work across a range of programmes or sports.Mentoring, training and a CPD programme will be provided to the successful applicant to help develop the suitable knowledge and skills where required.The College is striving to attract, develop and retain the very best people by offering a motivating and inclusive workplace in which talent is truly recognised.
