More about Legal at OmnipresentOur legal team plays a pivotal role in ensuring we meet global compliance standards, support our clients effectively, and manage risks associated with international employment.The team consists of 15 members, divided into four business units: Legal Product, International Employment, Corporate & Commercial, and Risk & Litigation. This role will report to the Legal Product business unit.What will you do?As a Legal Operations Manager at Omnipresent, you will be the backbone of our legal department, driving efficiency and alignment to support the company’s broader objectives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial management: Oversee external counsel fees, manage legal invoices, develop budgeting strategies, and maintain financial efficiency within the legal department.
  • Legal tools management: Manage and assess legal tools and vendors, ensure existing tools meet our standards, and identify needs for new tools.
  • Cross-functional alignment: Track and align legal projects with business units, monitor and report on service desk and ticketing system metrics, and facilitate legal communications with the rest of the company by actively engaging with other departments.
  • Organizational management: Organize and streamline team operations, oversee team onboarding and continuous training, and coordinate policy and SOP development.
  • Data analytics: Track and report on the legal team’s performance, and utilize analytics tools to provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge management: ****Support and manage knowledge management initiatives and foster collaboration and information sharing across the legal team and other departments.

  • Proven experience in a Legal Operations role, preferably within a startup environment.
  • Deep understanding of operating on a global scale, navigating various legal systems and compliance requirements.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and SQL, using data-driven insights to enhance team performance.

Desirable skills:

  • A legal background is a plus, providing a deeper understanding of legal complexities.
  • Experience working in a fully remote environment, understanding the dynamics of remote teams.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Intercom, and Notion.
