Job description
As Legal Manager, you will oversee the legal processes related to debt recovery, and legal notifications, ensuring all procedures comply with the law. They manage case files, coordinate with clients and legal authorities, and supervise a team to handle the timely execution of court orders and judgments.As Legal Manager, you will be responsible for a collections department and your main responsibilities are as follows:
- Coordinate and proactively organize the team’s various activities according to priorities
- and skills of each member of staff;
- Training, supervising and motivating the team;
- Implement the most suitable collection scheme for the customer, in close cooperation with the and with the IT and accounting departments;
- Contact person for customers and employees;
- Ensure the department’s growth and support the team in achieving its objectives;
- Design and monitor internal control procedures, document rules and operating methods methods;
- Reporting to management and customers;
- Contribute to the implementation of new internal projects in order to continuously improve collection processes and procedures.

- You have a Master in Law
- You have at least 5+ years experience as lawyer, legal counsel, legal consultancy.
- Proven experience in collections is an asset.
- You are rigorous, organized, analytical, proactive and reliable.
- You are sales-minded, results-oriented and solution-oriented.
- You are fluent in French and Dutch is a major asset;
- You have a good knowledge of IT tools
