Job Description
Enfinity is looking for a Legal Counsel specialized in Construction that will be a key member of the European legal team. This Legal Counsel will provide quality and relevant advice on the whole spectrum of legal matters regarding Enfinity’s construction activities in Europe (Spain, Italy, UK) and will work closely with contractors and construction companies.
Responsibilities
- General assistance on technical contract matters for construction and operation, revamping, project development, engineering and construction, asset management, security contracts
- Drafting and negotiation of sale and purchase agreements, services development agreements, JV and co- development agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, EPC agreements, supply agreements, management and services agreements.
- Analysis of the applicable laws in respect of the contracts, drafting of legal opinions.
- Define standard contracts across the life cycle of the project (development, construction and asset management).
- Lead legal due diligence efforts in development activities.
- Review and negotiate different technical related commercial contracts and reply to a wide variety of requests for legal assistance from different functions.
- Provide a balance analysis of key risks in the activities of the company from a legal perspective and provide mitigating actions.
- Deal with external parties (regulators, external counsel, clients, suppliers and financing partners)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the energy sector either as internal or external counsel
- Track record of having worked internationally in a number of projects within the energy sector
- Well-versed in how business operate with financial acumen
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills In Italian and English language;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Flexibility, interdisciplinary teamwork skills and willingness to travel up to 50%.
