Madrid (Spain)FUNCTIONS We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our team in Madrid. As a leading portal connecting contractors and subcontractors, we are one of the pioneers in this sector. In this role, you will provide essential legal support, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, especially related to GDPR, and negotiating key contracts with both clients and vendors. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of client and vendor contracts. Provide day-to-day legal advice on commercial and contract matters. Research and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws, particularly GDPR. Conduct contract risk analysis and develop risk mitigation strategies. Enforce contractual terms when necessary. Update and draft contract templates and other legal documentation. Foster a customer-focused culture, delivering quality service to internal and external stakeholders. Provide training to key stakeholders on legal and contractual matters. Drive process improvements and share best practices across the legal function. Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by the business. Candidate Profile: Education & Experience: Degree in Law 3-5 years’ experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts Deep knowledge of legal practices, staying informed of new developments in law, practice, and industry. Ability to read and analyse complex legal documents and information. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to build rapport and work confidently with colleagues, clients, and external parties. Fluency in English is essential.
