The role involves serving as a Legal Counsel for an international, non-profit organization leading global efforts in scientific research. It focuses on providing legal support for clinical trials, partnerships, compliance, and governance in a collaborative environment advancing life-changing scientific innovation.Key responsibilities of the Legal Counsel role include:
- Legal Support: Oversee legal aspects of clinical trials, partnerships, and collaborations to ensure compliance with international and local regulations.
- Contracts Management: Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, including clinical trial agreements, partnership contracts, and service provider arrangements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to data protection laws, ethical guidelines, and governance policies across all operations.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential legal risks, providing proactive guidance to stakeholders.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the creation and implementation of internal policies to support organizational objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth operations

- Experience: 3 to 6 years of legal practice, with expertise in contracts, compliance, and corporate governance, preferably in clinical trials, health, or nonprofit sectors.
- Qualifications: A law degree with a strong understanding of international and EU law, including data protection (GDPR) and ethics regulations.
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and communication abilities, with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English & French (written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Personal Traits: Demonstrates attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, multicultural environment
