3E is expanding internationally and is rapidly growing its worldwide customer base. To strengthen our Legal team, we are looking for a Legal Counsel who can draft and negotiate win-win contracts. In this job, your main focus will be securing agreements with customers, partners and suppliers for diverse projects in the renewable energies sector, working closely with the Advisory Services Sales and Operations teams and our R&D department. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• You will draft, review, negotiate and follow-up commercial contracts with customers, partners and service providers;

• You will advise on legal risks associated with such contracts, while providing balanced and efficient solutions for contract closure;

• You will provide advice and clarifications to internal stakeholders on contractual and other legal matters;

• You will work with the other members of the Legal team to ensure compliance with the internal control mechanisms, applicable legal requirements, regulations and other formalities;

• You will advise on and draft contract templates/clauses/processes that accelerate scalability and flexibility of the organisation.

RequirementsWe are looking for an experienced and passionate legal person who is eager to understand our business, is entrepreneurial in getting things done and is always looking for win-win solutions.Of course, there are some non-negotiables:

• You have a Law degree from a recognised university in Europe;

• You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience gained in a law firm and/or as in-house lawyer, focusing on commercial contracts, preferably in the consultancy and IT sector;

• You have strong win-win negotiation skills in both legal and technical/commercial issues;

• You enjoy understanding a company’s business and can balance business versus legal priorities;

• You have excellent organisational, prioritisation and time-management skills;

• You are eager to learn/explore the legal particularities of different countries;
• You have a high degree of professional ethics and integrity;
• You are fluent in English and French.

Bonus points for:

• Experience in advising renewable energies consulting and/or SaaS businesses;

• Any other language (e.g. Dutch, Spanish).
