We are committed to innovation in the gift card industry, integrating with a variety of payment systems to deliver exceptional customer experiences.Role OverviewAs a Legal and Compliance Officer at Giftify, you will be a key member of the legal department, tasked with ensuring that our operations adhere to legal and regulatory standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing guidance on compliance matters, and supporting the company’s continued growth. Your role will involve monitoring regulatory developments, drafting contracts, and helping various teams navigate complex legal challenges.Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Legal Team Lead and stakeholders (Commercial, Product, Finance) to manage and execute legal tasks.
• Monitor regulatory changes across jurisdictions and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation to safeguard Giftify’s interests.
• Provide timely legal advice to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Engage with external legal counsel when necessary to address specialized legal matters.
• Conduct internal compliance training and offer guidance to team members on legal standards and practices.
• Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure a seamless approach to legal and compliance matters.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in legal and compliance roles, ideally within a fast-growing or tech-driven company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, with a preference for a Master’s in Business Law.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with various teams, including Commercial, Product, and Finance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in clear and practical terms.
• Proactive, solution-oriented approach, and strong organizational skills.
