We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal & Compliance Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company’s legal affairs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing legal support across various departments. This position reports directly to the Global Director of Legal & Compliance and involves collaboration with external legal advisors and internal stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: * Review of Legal Documentation:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of all legal documents of interest to the company (contracts with clients and suppliers, internal legal documentation, etc…).
  • Coordinate with external legal advisors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Compliance Plan Development:
  • Adapt the internal Compliance Plan to align with company standards and regulations.
  • Maintain Taptap’s Third Party Code of Ethics and Taptap’s Internal Policies, ensuring they are it is up-to-date and enforced.
  • Market Expansion Support:
  • Provide legal support for the company’s entry into new markets and for M&A activities.
  • Ensure all legal requirements and regulations are met in new jurisdictions.
  • Departmental Legal Support:
  • Offer legal assistance to various global departments, primarily Finance and People & Talent, and Taptap’s subsidiaries.
  • Address legal queries and provide guidance on legal matters to support department functions.
  • Board Reporting:
  • Prepare and present legal reports to the Board of Directors.
  • Ensure the Board is informed of significant legal issues, risks, and compliance status.

Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law; Master’s degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • Admitted to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in a legal and compliance role, preferably within a multinational company in the advertising sector or relevant law firm.
  • Proven track record in handling legal documentation, compliance planning, and market expansion support.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of legal principles and practices, especially in commercial law, data protection and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing compliance plans.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
