To this end, the research group employs sustainability analyses (techno-economic and life cycle analyses) and applies these to the development and implementation of (the production of) clean technologies with the aim of supporting policy making and accelerating the decarbonization of our society. The group publishes in leading economic and interdisciplinary journals and is involved in several large international research consortia with funding from EU framework programs and Belgian and Flemish funding sources, among others.
