DTIB126-24About the RoleStaffordshire University Games Institute seeks dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our expanding department as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Games 3D Art.At Staffordshire University, we’re dedicated to fostering excellence in games education. We are Ukie (UK Interactive Entertainment) members and proudly host their student conference. Our accolades include being recognized as the Top Games Department in the UK by the Rookies Global League Table 2023, and we are multiple TIGA industry awards winners, including Best Educational Initiative for our 1UP placement scheme. This scheme employs over 30 students to run our in-house games studio, which produced the award-winning arcade game MechHead. About the Institute:The Staffordshire Games Institute is one of the largest in the world, with a team of over 70 academics across two campuses. We offer a unique interdisciplinary environment that covers all technical aspects of games production, split into Art, Design, and Technology subject areas. Our modern Stoke on Trent campus features state-of-the-art technologies, including specialized games development labs and cutting-edge research spaces.
