The University of Manchester invites applications for Teaching and Research positions within the Department of Materials. Positioned as one of the few Russell Group universities with a dedicated Fashion Business and Technology discipline, we are at the forefront of integrating fashion technology with business strategies and leading advancements in the fashion industry. We are looking to appoint academics (Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Reader levels) in the field of fashion technology and innovation, who are committed to helping shape our strategic vision and contribute to our expanding academic portfolio through both research and teaching.You will join an experienced and diverse team, leading the development of significant research projects, and delivering teaching across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Your role will be critical in shaping our academic agenda and enhancing the student learning experience. In addition, you will develop new research initiatives and contribute to high-quality publications, actively supporting the School’s objectives in the Research Excellence Framework (REF).Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent in Fashion or a related discipline, with a research record commensurate to the level of the position sought.
