Job Title: Lecturer / Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in MakeupSalary: Hourly Paid £14.66 – £32.83 per hour inclusive of holiday payContract: MC Teaching Support, Hourly Paid, CasualPension: Teachers’ PensionAbout the roleTo plan and deliver a wide range of challenging, relevant learning and work experiences that ensure all learners can develop and apply the skills, knowledge, behaviours and attitudes required for the 21st Century learning.The intent of the Service Industries curriculum is to ensure learners develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours within their desired sector whilst gaining transferrable interpersonal skills to develop opportunities for further advancement. Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Media makeup, Catering & Hospitality curriculum are all vocationally based provision which takes a creative, practical and commercial based approach to learning and assessment.Our programmes equip learners with specialist skills through hands on experience working in a realistic working environment. Learners develop their personal skills through communication, customer service, professionalism and sales prospecting. This enables our learners to progress onto future study or employment and succeed in various avenues.The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of learners, employers and local skills demand. Our programmes are designed to reflect the & dynamical changing culture within the selection of units delivered and the order in which they are sequenced. This enables learners to embed their knowledge into practice, in a way that builds their confidence and enhances their skills.About the College
