Offer DescriptionRECTOR OF MARIA CURIE-SKŁODOWSKA UNIVERSITY IN LUBLIN (UMCS)hereby announces an open competition for the position of lecturer in the group of teaching staff at the Department of IT Law and Legal Professions in the Institute of Legal Sciences at the Faculty of Law and Administration of UMCSRequirementsResearch Field Juridical sciences Education Level PhD or equivalentSkills/Qualifications

• holder of the Master’s degree in law;
• skills and abilities needed for teaching work, attested with an opinion given by a senior research and teaching staff member;
• at least one-year experience in conducting classes in: management of organizations, comparative studies on legal cultures, application of various forms of information technologies;
• participation in organizing at least one international scientific conference within the period of 12 months prior to the date of submitting documents for the competition;
• developing the project brief for at least one university educational project within the period of 12 months prior to the date of submitting documents for the competition;
• experience in applying law and in science popularization activities, especially in the form of analyses, opinions, studies, educational projects implemented in higher education;
• fluency in spoken and written Polish;

Specific Requirements

• application form addressed to the Rector of UMCS;
• authentic copy of the Master’s degree diploma;
• personal questionnaire and CV;
• list of didactic and organizational achievements;
• declaration of compliance with the requirements, in accordance with Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2023 item 742 as amended);
• the candidate’s statement that UMCS will be his/her primary place of employment;
• the candidate’s statement that he/she consents to the processing of personal data, pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);
• credentials, opinion on the teaching skills and abilities.
