We are looking for colleagues who will have a commitment to maintaining and building the University’s excellence in teaching and learning, and who are doing research that has the potential for significant long-term academic and societal impact. We welcome applications from individuals who have full and current registration with Social Work England (SWE) with an interest in any area of Social Work. This reflects our already strong coverage of core curriculum areas and clear research interest groups.As a faculty we also welcome candidates whose research work will resonate with one or more interdisciplinary Faculty Research Centres within the Institute for Lifecourse Development.The school has an active and growing research base. We had a strong performance in REF2021 particularly with regard to ‘research environment’. The University is currently rated TEF GOLD, reflecting our excellent teaching and learning.
