About the Role:We are looking for a Lecturer in Performing Arts to join us at Tresham College. As a Lecturer you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:Preparing, delivering, assessing and verifying subject specialisms on a range of courses and levelsSupporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.Managing students’ learning and provide a high quality learning experience.Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.About you:Professional vocational training in a relevant subjectEnglish and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or equivalentRecent experience as a teacher, trainer, instructor or workshop facilitatorProfessional/ industry experienceExperience of working constructively to achieve team objectives and deadlinesExperience of using IT and a willingness to develop multimedia approaches to learningExperience of working effectively with people from diverse backgroundsAbility to communicate effectively and confidently face to face, on the telephone and in writingResponsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and for raising any concerns.£31,000 per annum. DOE and Qualification.
