The South Wales Business School (SWBS) is seeking to appoint a Lecturer to contribute to courses within the Logistics, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management within the Operation Management subject area.
This is a key role within the subject area. The ideal candidate will have strong organisation and communication skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a wide-variety of stakeholders, and will possess expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Procurement, with expertise in best practice within the private and public sector.
• Project management, including APM, SCRUM and Prince 2 methodologies.
• Managing contracts and relationships in procurement and supply • Corporate and business strategy
• Supply chain management risk and sustainability.
Ideally, you will have gained significant business/industry experience and will be looking for a role in academia. Alternatively, this role would suit a recently qualified academic looking to broaden their experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Management subject group and support the learning journey of a culturally diverse student community.
This is a full-time permanent position based at the Pontypridd Campus of the University of South Wales.
