Job Title: Lecturer in Health and Social CareSalary: Lecturer Salary Scale Point 5 – 16£28,419 – £41,874 per annum *subject to a progression criteria*The salary progression criteria beyond point 11 of the Lecturer scale will bebased on you achieving and maintaining, on an annual basis, the QualifiedTeacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) & QTS. To progress beyond point 14 of theLecturer salary scale, you will be expected to achieve and maintain theAdvanced Teacher Status (ATS).Contract: MC Lecturer, Whole Time, PermanentHours: 37 hours per weekTeaching hours: 850 hours per annumAnnual Leave: 45 days per annum plus statutory Bank HolidaysPension: Teachers’ PensionAbout the roleTo plan and deliver a wide range of challenging, relevant learning and work-related experiences in Health and Social Care. Ensure all learners can develop and apply the skills, knowledge, behaviours and attitudes required for the 21st Century learning, life and work. The course is a mixture of external examination and internally assessed coursework units. The ideal candidate will be able to teach across a broad range of units, including biology (anatomy and physiology).About the College
