Queen’s University Belfast is currently seeking to recruit a talented Lecturer in Climate Policy, Politics and Sustainability, to undertake high-quality research in line with our research strategy, to teach and supervise at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and to contribute to administration/outreach activity. This post is held jointly between the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy & Politics (0.7FTE) and the School of Biological Sciences (0.3FTE), enabling interdisciplinary social science research and teaching, as well as to contribute to the development of the new Climate Plus Co-Centre and to the Centre for Sustainability, Equality and Climate Action.About the person:The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

• Ph.D. in a cognate social science discipline (e.g.. Politics/Political Science, Sociology, Law)
• Record of publication of research outputs appropriate to stage of career.
• A research focus in the social science of climate policy and sustainability.
• Evidence of contribution in research projects and outputs, including collaboration and outreach.
• Evidence of effective outreach and engagement /dissemination of research to non-academic audiences 6. Evidence of effective and innovative teaching at University level appropriate to stage of career, including successful design and delivery of modules.
• vidence of ability to contribute to the teaching of modules in climate policy and sustainability.
