Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a passionate and innovative Lecturer in Adult Functional Skills Maths and English. This is an exciting opportunity to empower students by developing their core skills, while contributing to a dynamic and supportive academic community. This role will be based at Seasiders and Fleetwood Adult Learning Centres as well as in the community.Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Lecturer in Adult Functional Skills Maths and English , your main duties will involve:
- Delivering high-quality, inclusive learning, teaching, and assessment in Maths and English.
- Supporting curriculum design, development, and quality improvement to enhance the student experience.
- Promoting student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression through targeted guidance and developmental support.
- Utilising digital and face-to-face teaching tools (e.g., VLE) to support student success.
- Contributing to the academic community through professional practice, research, and innovation.
