The post of Lecturer in Energy Systems Technology will contribute to extending the research profile of Engineering at Exeter, particularly in areas related or complementary to Renewable Energy and Energy Systems Integration.The University welcomes applications which build on Exeter’s internationally recognised research strengths in this area and face our research and teaching needs within the department. The position of Lecturer (Education and Research) in Energy Systems Technology will be based in the Renewable Energy Group led by Prof Philipp Thies. The group is part of the Department of Engineering, led by Professor Ion Sucala ( ). Engineering currently has over 90 academic staff across our Exeter (Streatham) and Cornwall (Penryn) campuses. Academics in the Renewable Energy group are based in our Cornwall (Penryn) campus and have particular expertise in Electrical & Power Systems Engineering, Energy Policy, Offshore Wind technology, Solar energy, as well as energy storage.The department of Engineering has recently embarked on an ambitious strategy – .
