DescriptionLECTURER – Brickwork (Ore Valley)37 Hours/52.14 WeeksSalary up to £39,808 per annum FTE.Are you passionate about teaching Brickwork and Construction skills to the next generation of learners? Do you have industry experience and a relevant qualification in Brickwork or a related subject? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Construction team.As a Brickwork lecturer, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to students of various levels and abilities, from Level 1 to Level 3. You will also be involved in assessing and supporting students’ progress, providing feedback and guidance, and contributing to quality assurance and improvement processes. You will be expected to keep up to date with developments in the Brickwork and Construction sector, and to participate in staff development and training activities.To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
  • A Level 3 qualification in Brickwork or a related subject, or equivalent
  • Relevant industry experience and knowledge of current practices and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude to teaching and learning.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults.
