If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become a Learning Support Assistant at a prestigious mainstream secondary school and college in a lovely school in Wandsworth Requirements:Previous child-based experience.Possession of an enhanced DBS on the update service.Genuine passion for working with young people.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach. Responsibilities:Provide individualised support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities, both in and out of the classroom.Assist the class teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.Help students overcome barriers to learning and promote inclusion within the classroom.Support students with their academic progress, including homework, assignments, and exam preparation.Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their emotional well-being and personal development.Collaborate with other professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech therapists, to ensure the best support for students..Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and parents/guardians as required.
