Job Description:This position reports to the HR Director and is part of the HR Team of Hermès Benelux-Nordics based at the Head Office in Brussels.Together with the HR Director you elaborate the Learning strategy for the region and are in charge of its implementation.In close exchange with Store Managers and managers at head office level, you assess the business needs, to develop strategic plans, utilising Hermès training offers and possibly external suppliers to support employee’s growth and development.Based on Group and regional priorities you establish and communicate the annual training plan. For this you manage annual training request campaigns in our HRIS, which you also use for reporting purposes. You are in charge of building and steering the training budget for the region.You animate classroom trainings (Hermès culture, client experience and compliance trainings) to our store teams and liaise with product experts across Europe and in Paris for product related trainings.You make sure each newcomer in the region receives an inspiring and well-coordinated on-boarding, leveraging on managers as well as your own presence and expertise.You are part of the Europe & Middle East training community and as such contribute to Europe projects and participate in Europe and Group seminars.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1) Identify learning needs and develop appropriate training plans
- Define learning priorities with managers
- Build a learning strategy with the Human Resources Director
- Review, prepare and monitore an annual budget for the training plan
- Coordinate and manage back-office activities and reporting
2) Drive the training plan deployment
- Coordinate enrollments on the dedicated HR platforms
- Deploy and run local trainings:
- H Immersion induction program to every newcomer in the region
- Together with managers create relevant and inspiring induction programs for head office and store management newcomers, defining agenda and ensuring quality of delivery
- Depending on position, ensure and organise “parrainage” of newcomers across the region or within Hermès
- (Seasonal) Product trainings: organize product training sessions with Europe & Middle East training community and métiers
- Deliver classroom trainings on selling ceremony and client culture
- Respond to training needs through participation in “morning briefs” in store or organize quick sessions (on product knowledge, mystery-shopping feedbacks, etc).
- Coordinate the logistic and administration of all local training programs
- Recommend, establish and coordinate appropriate training programs according to local needs with external suppliers
- Source and brief external providers
- Make regular reports on training effectiveness. Evaluate training result, monitor post-training action plans, maintain and update employee training records.
- Suggest new formats and tools, innovating the methodology and delivery of our trainings
3) Be part of the trainers’ community in Europe
- Share best practices and contributing to regional and Group projects
- Work with Europe & Middle East and Corporate training team to constantly adjust the existing programmes
- Attend Europe & Middle East seminars
PROFILE
- Master Degree preferably in Humanistic/Economics field and/or specialized in training & learning methodology
- At least 8 years of relevan experience, ideally in international retail or service companies, where the candidate was involved in training
- Management experience is a strong plus
- Outgoing and balanced personality, good emphatic, social and communication skills, ability to work autonomously
- Proactive, professional and positive attitude
- Good understanding of luxury brands and Hermès culture: understand the peculiarity of Hermès in Retail Industry.
- Excellent organizational and management skills and high level of customer service attitude
- Excellent computer skills. Especially Power point and Excel.
- Fluency in English, good French (written and spoken) and Dutch or a Scandinavian language is a plus
- Dedication to outstanding level of service, diplomatic skills and discretion complete the profile
- Willingness to travel frequently is important
