This role is being offered on a Permanent basis.

About the Role:

The Learning & Development Specialist will collaborate with our colleagues across HR and the wider business to understand the capabilities required across the organisation and align our learning solutions to meet this in a meaningful way that shows the impact of learning.

The L&D Specialists will engage proactively with the Business at a senior level to consider key capability areas identified and focus on delivering development solutions against these key areas aligning to the AIB and People Strategy.

The role is focused on embedding an effective efficient service and ensuring that all capability needs of the Business are captured and communicated effectively. 
The L&D Specialist will work in partnership with our third party learning partner. This role will be pivotal as a relationship builder between the outsourced partner and the AIB Business.

Key Responsibilities Include:

-Being the point of contact for the Business Unit in a defined portfolio on all learning related queries and activities.
-Provide advice on trends, catalogue offerings and suitable learning interventions available to meet the demand from the Business.
-Promote TD service offerings through regular communications to the Business and by presenting to teams as required.
-Consult with the Business in defining and deploying people related solutions referencing best practice and external insight.
-Advise and collaborate with the business on creating talent development solutions to meet their needs, creating curricula, academies, learning pathways , etc
-Act as a conduit between the 3rd party development team and the Business during the development of new or updated course content
-Support and manage other learning programmes as required.

-A passion for Learning and Development.
-Strong knowledge of Learning – with demonstrated capability across the aspects of the Learning cycle – assessment, design, delivery, evaluation.
-Strong people engagement & communication skills and proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
-Ability to interface with all levels of the organisation, specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations. Demonstrates an ability to effectively engage, challenge and clarify needs and solutions with the Business and any third-party stakeholder.
-The ability to think end to end and bigger picture to ensure consistency and alignment across the learning offering.
-Strong collaboration skills – demonstrates a keen ability to collaborate cross team and cross functionally to join the dots and ensure that the customer experience is seamless.
