Does that sound like you?About the jobLearning and Development is an important element of the operational excellence strategy within Nouryon. As a member of the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) academy this role fulfills an essential contribution in capability development and knowledge management in manufacturing, HSE, procurement, logistics and continuous improvement. You will advise functional leaders on the implementation of their learning & development strategy and develop on-line and classroom trainings together with subject matter experts. You will determine and align the L&D priorities, identify the most appropriate in- or external resources to ensure cost effectiveness, use of best practices and sustainable delivery and manage the execution, evaluation and continuous improvement of training programs.In your future role as Learning & Development Manager you will

  • Communicate with senior managers to identify learning and development needs and evaluate effectiveness of current learning programs
  • Lead and participate in project teams to design and develop capability frameworks, functional curricula, training and other learning resources.
  • Design and deliver instructor led, on-line and blended trainings. Develop training materials, learning bites and e-learnings.
  • Provide didactical feedback and advice to subject matter experts and (internal) trainers to ensure training quality.
  • Establish KPIs and benchmark functional curricula to ensure program effectiveness and impact, report on results and suggest improvements.
  • Participate in the management of vendor relationships. Conduct research into potential vendors and resources as requested.
  • Define together with functional leaders the yearly training development and delivery plan, including budget.
  • Network with other L&D departments to share knowledge and improvement opportunities and align program coordination processes, tools and systems.
  • Collaborate with the L&D coordinator to ensure that overall workload in the team is distributed evenly and continuity of L&D support is guaranteed.

We believe you bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in L&D, Human Resource Management, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related
  • 5-10 years of working experience in L&D in an international environment
  • Extensive proven experience in training design, development and delivery.
  • Experience with LMS (SAP SuccessFactors) and e-learning platforms (Articulate).
  • Expertise in facilitating webinars and virtual classroom sessions
  • Proven project management skills with experience coordinating and implementing training programs (or similar work).

  • A permanent contract with a probationary period of 2 months.
  • A gross basic annual salary including holiday allowance based on your knowledge and experience between EUR 65,150 and EUR 98.247.
