Job Description:Eaton in Tczew is a manufacturer of a wide range of components and products for the automotive industry (passenger vehicles and trucks). We are looking for Lean Manager to coordinate assists and drive the implementation of the CI and I 4.0 across the Campus. Main goal is to determine best practices and develop plans for across group implementation using resources from the best practice facility and Operation Excellence if required.What you’ll do:
- Manage the Continuous Improvement policies, practices and procedures at Plant level. This would include EBS Pull facilitation, process improvement plan, CIF and strategies, supporting productivity initiatives and other programs leading to significant improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and overall customer satisfaction.
- Set the goals and maintain Performance Evaluation and Development Plans for direct reports, including regular feedback.
- Execute/monitor the metrics for the Continuous Improvement, cost out and cultural change plans. Aligns improvement strategies to the Plant’s profit plan for delivery, cost, and quality improvement impact.
- Interface with corporate functional and other Plant’s Operational Excellence inside and out side Eaton, along with participation in ELS, Lean Six Sigma international groups/councils.
- Drive core Operational Excellence processes across the Plant: EBS Pull, LEAN, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement framework and other Corporate initiatives supporting Manufacturing strategy.
- Lead Continuous Improvement change to improve organizational effectiveness. Drives the change management necessary to implement effective programs.
- Manage Rapid Improvement Event, Kaizen programs reporting out improvements to support CONC, Cost Out and Value added improvements in the Campus.
- Provide expertise in LEAN and process improvement tools/methods to the other functions of the organization to support them in their continuous improvement activities.
- Design and implement ELSS training programs for key personnel in conjunction with other managers.
- Coordinate Employees Ideas program.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Technical or other related discipline.
- Min. five years of experience in CI/Lean/Manufacturing or Quality area.
