An exiting opportunity has arisen for an experienced advanced clinical practitioner to lead the cross site Perioperative Care Service at University Hospital NHS Trust.  The lead role will clinically manage the nurse practitioner teams across the services of Pre Assessment, Perioperative Anaemia, CPET and Surgery School. In addition, you will have a pivotal role in influencing and working on a vast array of perioperative care projects within the department, working alongside the UHS transformation team, Business Manager, Lead Matron, Clinical Service Lead and Care Group Manager. 

 The post sits within the Perioperative Care Service, with the purpose to assess and optimise patients physical health prior to surgery, aiming for our patients to be fitter and better for their elective procedures, positively impacting their entire hospital stay.  You will be joining one of the leading Perioperative teams in the country providing services for over 1000 patients a year.
