You will be reporting directly to DESMIs CHRO, who is a part of the DESMI Executive Management Team, while you will be part of the global HR Leadership Team.This position is one of our first steps in securing the right HR business capabilities globally, making us able to Lead and Support our organizational transition.A starting point for HR will be Global HR positions, where employees have mixed HR roles, both “running” and “developing” the business. This position will be a mix of Senior HR Partnering with upper-level management in our global commercial organization, combined with developing and implementing Global L&D activities. Your primary area of responsibility and tasks, in relation to this split, will include:1)Lead HR Business Partnering for the commercial organization: You will have a broad and deep role with tactical/strategic impact- and some operational focus. You will be the primary contact for level 2 (our CCO) and 3 People Managers in the commercial organization, while, as Lead HRBP, you are also to coordinate and align HRBP activities across regions/sites in the Global HRBP Matrix organization. Key tasks in your area of the business will be:

  • Sparring Partner for DESMIs CCO (member of DESMI Executive Management), and his direct reports, being an equal member of the upper-level Leadership team – with dotted-line to CCO
  • Lead and advice during organizational transitions, organizational design, and change management
  • Impacting future growth agenda in competencies, capabilities, and capacity maturity
  • Enforce leadership skills and upskill in leadership performance
  • Co-responsible in HR activities on future M&A integration activities with commercial org. part of DESMI
  • Ensure leadership team development and key employee development activities
  • Deploy and execute HR yearly activities in the commercial org. – like organization review, people review, PDDs, salary review, succession planning, etc.)
  • Execute HR legal activities across employee lifecycle and handle selected recruitments
  • Aid decision-making on fundamental cultural transformation agenda and activities

2)Global L&D Lead, developing and implementing global HR strategical Initiatives in the area of Leadership & Employee development and performance culture. Key tasks will be:

  • Unfolding the future global Learning & Development strategy, initiatives, processes, and tools in close collaboration with the CHRO, and through strong stakeholder involvement
  • Developing and executing key leadership and cultural development initiatives – incl. establish and facilitate people leadership assessment and training and other specific business-oriented training activities, maturing and developing the needed key capabilities for DESMI to release our strategic ambitions and grow – organic and acquisitive
  • Plan and facilitate selected, targeted, key employee/groups development activities aligned with the Global business need and aligned with future DESMI career patch and required capabilities
  • Be a dedicated project member (L&D focus) in specific strategical global HR projects like our future implementation of Mercer IPE globally, ensuring DE&I initiatives globally, etc.

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience at Lead HRBP or Senior HRBP level – preferably from an global HR role, in the commercial organization of mid-size company, working in a global HRBP setup and matrix, covering upper-level Managers as part of commercial leadership teams
  • Functional experience from the L&D area, especially Leadership training and development – from strategy and concept development to implementation and facilitation in the business
  • Relevant Master degree – preferably combined with Project Leadership certification/courses
  • HRBP toolbox must be in place: like recruitment test certification, Mercer IPE certification, Employment Law certification/courses and a mature toolbox and business experience with organizational leading, challenging and supporting org. design and change management
  • Business understanding and a sharp, strategical/tactical level of understanding to be able to conduct dialogues with senior leaders, founded in a financial understanding with insight in economical key figures, strategy and key business challenges, aspects and potentials
  • Global experience, cultural experience, and English at an above average level
