Gameloft is a Vivendi company.All trademarks referenced above are owned by their respective trademark owners.Job DescriptionGameloft Barcelona, the studio behind Asphalt 9: Legends and Disney Speedstorm, is seeking a talented Lead Game Designer to join our team. Our Barcelona studio is known for its innovative and top-grossing games.Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Creative Director, Studio Manager, Game Manager, and other team leads to define and execute the game vision.
• Direct the tone, gameplay, and meta structure of the game, focusing on innovation and a thriving Free-to-Play ecosystem.
• Lead the design team to ensure a cohesive experience across the game and service.
• Coordinate and direct level design teams to ensure synergy between mechanics and progression.
• Work with economy designers and product managers to maximize revenue through a live-ops plan.
• Anticipate and mitigate threats to quality and innovation.
• Foster a collaborative relationship with various departments, including Art, Technology, Online, Data, Audio, and Production.
• Allocate and plan resources in collaboration with managers and producers.
• Participate in the recruitment process for game designers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in game design, including lead or senior GD positions.
• Shipped at least 2 successful titles as a lead or senior GD.
• Proficiency in game design aspects like gameplay, balancing, UI, UX, etc.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the gaming market and trends.
• Ability to maintain a strong creative vision while remaining agile.
• High visual creativity and passion for game development.
• Experience with industry tools like Jira and Trello.
• Fluent in English.
