The role is crucial to the Fraud Risk team, responsible for assessing and managing fraud risks and controls, while ensuring proper governance is in place across JET.
Working closely with teams in strategy and change, risk and governance, analytics, and investigations, this varied role involves assessing fraud exposure and control effectiveness across JET’s entire business. Additionally, the role will act as a deputy for the Head of Fraud Risk & Governance when needed.These are some of the key ingredients to the role:Building plans to analyse and document the fraud risks that JET’s business is exposed to.Working close with the risk and compliance teams to assess fraud risks using the broader JET methodologyProviding support in setting and managing JET’s risk tolerance statements.Developing documentation artefacts that can be used to demonstrate compliance with applicable regulations and to show sufficient control of fraud management to close audit observations..Undertaking analysis of the regulatory environment and those regulations which can impact fraud risks (and the management of fraud e.g data protection) globally across the JET groupWhat will you bring to the table?A passion for fraud and operational risk – you should evangelise the need to manage fraud effectively by using operational risk frameworks.Proven experience in managing fraud and risk in a relevant industry (marketplaces, merchants, acquirers, financial institutions)Excellent knowledge of how fraud takes place due to weak or non-existent controls.A strong working knowledge of how to assess risk formally and document risk remediation plans.A proven ability to take risk based decisions and be able to motivate a high performing team.Extremely high standards of documentation with attention to all document detail and contentExcellent workload management skillsThe ability to take complicated risk terminology and structures and explain them simply.At JET, this is on the menu:Our teams forge connections internally and work with some of the best-known brands on the planet, giving us truly international impact in a dynamic environment.Fun, fast-paced and supportive, the JET culture is about movement, growth and about celebrating every aspect of our JETers.
