The Lead Finance Business Partner drives financial insight and transparency within the EMEA market unit. They will also translate business decisions into financial outcomes and use financial and business insight to actively spar with, and challenge, the senior management teams of these units.
The business partner will also take initiatives on reducing complexity, establishing effective financial processes, and further develop our key financial deliverables, including the budget, forecast and monthly management report. In this respect, they will work closely together with the Market Unit (MU) and Global FP&A team for the execution of these initiatives.
The Finance Business Partner has direct and regular interaction with senior business stakeholders.What you will be responsible forAct as a senior financial analyst and trusted advisor to the senior management team (SMT)Present the management report to the MU SMT with analysis and insight on variances to budgetSupport the sales organization in the shaping of deals and understanding the profitability of our offers to clientsDrive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and the monthly management reportEnsure the financial forecast remains in line with the business outlookEnsure MU processes are in place to timely and effectively perform forecasting & budgetingPerform value adding financial analysis to identify business opportunitiesDrive development of financial transparency as well as financial analysis and insightsDrive and contribute to finance and business initiatives and projectsDrive and contribute to the development and optimisation of financial and business processes and the use of financial applications, including our new ERP system WorkdayPerform ad-hoc business partnering and controlling tasksWhat we value (our requirements)Solid stakeholder management skillsAt least 5+ years of experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial business supportA structured and analytical mindset with a self-starter attitudeThe ability to work just as well independently, as in a teamBrilliant collaboration and communication skills, bridging finance and businessA high drive, a sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize between multiple stakeholders in a global and changing environmentAn academic degree (or equivalent) in management or financeFluency in spoken and written EnglishNext steps
