If so, we want to hear from you!Rabobank’s Model Development Platform (One!Lab) is integral for developing cutting-edge data analytics and machine learning solutions directly influencing areas such as risk management and combating financial and economic crime. Our next objective is to enhance One!Lab’s user functionality, flexibility, and create an even smoother platform experience for our users.Our Analytics Platform teams, under the Tech 4 Data & Analytics domain of the Technology Office (CITO), are pivotal in supporting the whole bank in their aim to become a more data-driven bank through building and maintaining a highly secure state-of-the-art Model Development Platform. You will become part of a robust team of over 30 platform and DevOps engineers, along with technical business analysts, working closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Tech Leadership. Your role will be to technically lead the teams responsible for building and optimizing a high-performance platform, guiding them in implementing state-of-the-art solutions, and bridging the gap between engineering and management by consulting and advising the senior leadership.Roles and Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Direction:Guide the evolution of the Model Development Platform (One!Lab) to meet the emerging needs of our users (e.g., facilitating the use of Open AI, multi-cloud, multi-region, etc.).Provide feedback and input from an engineering perspective on the strategic roadmap for the Azure-based analytics platform, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency in line with business objectives, and advise and consult management proactively with ideas.Technical Expertise & Innovation:Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of the analytics platform, leveraging Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, and Terraform.Oversee the integration of machine learning models into the platform, ensuring seamless and efficient model deployment and operation.Continuous Improvement & Security:Stay updated with the latest developments in Azure and related technologies, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the team.Ensure the security of the platform by applying your knowledge of network security and best practices.Stakeholder Engagement & Customer Focus:Engage with internal stakeholders, understanding and meeting their needs to deliver high-quality solutions.Communicate technical concepts and strategic plans effectively to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support for platform initiatives.Leadership & Collaboration:Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.Act as a technical authority, steering technical discussions, and implementing best practices.Required Qualifications:A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years specifically dedicated to building and managing advanced analytics platforms on Azure.Real-world experience in deploying, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale analytics platforms in production environments.Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD.Expert knowledge of Azure services (Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, Azure App Services, Azure OpenAI).Strong knowledge of Role-Based Access Controls and Entra.Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.Strong understanding of network architecture and security.Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.Proficiency in Python is a big plus.To be considered for this position, you must be located in the Netherlands or elsewhere in the EU and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands.
