Then you might be our new colleague.As our Lead Azure Data Engineer, your overall responsible for designing, implementing, and ensuring our Azure-based data infrastructure. You will develop a team of data engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and optimization of our data systems.The team you will be part ofAt our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be part of our global ERP Development team, part of the IT Business Core function, where you report to the Head of Department, Frank Egeberg.You will be part of global work environment with a diverse team of colleagues with members from various nationalities and at different locations across the world. We promote an atmosphere of shared learning where mutual aid and reflection on outcomes, both positive and negative, are integral to our group’s progress.Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:Design and develop scalable data solutions on our Azure platform.Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical guidance and support.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Implement best practices for data management, security, and governance.Optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance and reliability.Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure high availability and performance.Stay up to date with the latest Azure technologies and industry trends.To succeed in the role, we imagine that youA higher educational background within Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields of studies.Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Azure technologies.Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure data services.Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Project- and change management abilities.
