Then the role as Lead Accountant and BI Specialist in Nordic RCC might be the right opportunity for you!Nordic RCC – supporting security of supply and the green energy transitionNordic RCC provides calculations and recommendations to the four Nordic Electricity Transmission System Operators (Tso’s) (Energinet, Fingrid, Statnett and Svenska Kraftnät). The main aim of the services is to ensure transparency and help the TSOs with operational planning to ensure continued security of supply with an increase of renewables in the system. In short: We play a small but important part of ensuring the green energy transition.A variety of accounting and finance systems oriented tasksYou will be working closely together with our two other accountants on a variety of tasks, being responsible for some and “back-up on others”, including:

• Financial project management in our ERP solution
• VAT reporting
• Fixed assets accounting
• chart of accounts and maintain bookkeeping and accounting processes. We are reporting under IFRS.
• Daily accounting operations including overseeing the monthly financial closing process and related reconciliations

In addition, you will be leading activities related to:

• Further development of Power BI used for financial and project reporting making sure the organisation’s information needs are met
• system support for our financial processes and procedures

We are using Business Central, Power BI and Visma HR/Time as our core finance systems.Skills and experienceYou should be fluent in Danish, but as we are an international company, the company language is English.

As a person, you have a structured and detail-oriented approach to your work and take responsibility for achieving results and meeting deadlines. You communicate well and can build cross-functional relationships with a positive attitude.You will be working closely together with our Finance team consisting of you, two other accountants, and a Finance Manager. You will be a part of our “Strategy and Company Functions” department covering Finance, HR, Legal, support to the CEO and the Board of Directors, Strategy, Communications and Office Management.An international and flexible working environmentYou will join a team of competent, diverse, and enthusiastic colleagues.
