Purpose Statement

This position has the primary role is assisting with all duties relating to Microbiology.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform or Review Environmental Monitoring at the plant (Microbial, Particulate, Water).
-Perform or Review product testing (Bioburden and Endotoxin).
-Perform or Review product validations.
-Collect, compile and analyse data and prepare laboratory reports.
-Assist in any investigations into out of specification results.
-Involvement in ordering materials for laboratory.
-Maintain 5S standards in the Microbiology laboratory and office area.
-Support the business with regard to process improvements and quality improvements.
-Ensure compliance to BSC Cork, Corporate and Regulatory requirements.
-Exposure to Bioburden and Endotoxin monitoring.
– Good team player, organised, accurate, excellent documentation skills
– Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
 

Education & Experience:

-Third level qualification in Science, Microbiology or related discipline.
-Ideally 2 years work experience within a GMP environment.
-Ability to work on own initiative.
-Strong Team Player and excellent collaborator.
-Experience in investigation and problem solving.
