Your new role

As a Laboratory Technician in Purification Research, you will contribute to the delivery of purified recombinant proteins and peptides for research projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Executing within protein purification workflows
-Supporting the production of multiple proteins per week within a structured workflow
-Performing routine analytical methods and contributing to data interpretation
-Documenting experimental work accurately in electronic laboratory notebooks
-Collaborating closely with scientists and colleagues to support protein deliveries
 

You will work hands-on in the laboratory while continuously building your expertise and contributing to team deliverables.

Your new department

Purification Research consists of two departments (Purification Research 1 and 2) with around 24 highly engaged scientists and laboratory technicians. The department is part of Peptide & Protein Research in Therapeutics Discovery.
The department supports early research by delivering purified proteins and peptides from recombinant expression. We work with a combination of platform-based automated purification and customized solutions, contributing to lead molecule selection and preparing processes for transfer to CMC.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a laboratory technician with relevant experience in protein purification. You bring:

-Hands-on experience with preparative chromatography
-Experience with ÄKTA systems and Unicorn software
-Knowledge of analytical methods such as SE-UPLC, RP-UPLC or LC-MS
-Strong collaboration skills and a proactive mindset
-Experience working with digital tools including AI is an advantage

Salary and Benefits: The Annual Base Salary ranges from 437,600 to 643,200 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

A competitive benefits package is offered, including a pension scheme (currently 13% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution) in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement for Salaried Employees (Industriens Funktionæroverenskomst or “IFO”).

The benefits package also includes a free choice account of currently 11% and 4% holiday allowance.
